CFA INSTITUTE, FUTURE STATE OF THE INVESTMENT PROFESSION: PURSUING BETTER OUTCOMES – FOR THE END INVESTOR, THE INDUSTRY, AND SOCIETY (APRIL 2017)

LET’S SERVE OUR CLIENTS BETTER.

CFA Institute asked 1,145 leaders of the investment management industry whether they thought clients were often sold inappropriate financial products. The results? We can do better.

A majority of responses ranged from neutral to strongly agree, while only a small percentage disagreed. This may be seen as a setback, but to CFA Institute it’s seen as a challenge to improve. To serve our clients better. To build back trust in our industry. To measure up.
